Radoactive 131

Pretty uneventful normal day, nothing much happened. Crappy rainy weather and windy.
Saw a news story on local station about how radiation from the Japanese nuclear plant has found its way to Maryland waters. I click the link thinking "how the hell do they know this!?"





From the article:
Mike Schuh travelled to the area where it was detected and has more on if we should be concerned.

It blew into Maryland from 6700 miles away, across an ocean and a continent. Radioactive iodine 131 is found in four of the state’s eight detectors and in Baltimore’s rainwater.
